Wm Guaranteed Admission Agreement

Students admitted under this agreement as applicants to the University of W-M pay tuition fees to W-M. Students applying for privileges at Virginia In-State Tuition apply if they apply to be admitted to L-M. Transfer students must meet the deadlines set by the Office of Financial Aid for submitting the FAFSA and CSS profiles. The Office of Financial Aid considers transfer students in the same category as returning students who are first responders at W-M. Students in VCCS institutions are guaranteed admission as candidates to W-M University under this GAA if they meet all the following requirements: The college has special agreements with certain colleges and universities that benefit our students. The Virginia Community College system also works assiduously on behalf of all students attending one of Virginia`s 23 community colleges, including CBT students. For more information on the agreement, please see the links below. The College of William and Mary welcomes applications from students from Richard Bland College. For Richard Bland`s students, there are several ways to guarantee admission to the W-M, including guaranteed admission, promised scholars and the bridge program. The VCCS transcript is subject to a course review and a special credit is granted for courses on the “Race Equivalents” document on the admissions site W-M (www.wm.edu/admission/transfer) as equivalent to those of W-M, provided that the student receives a “C” (2.0) or higher grade. If necessary, additional voting credits are granted to obtain a junior position. This agreement is reviewed every three years, but remains in effect until termination by one of the parties, after written notification to the other party.

This communication should be made at least sixty days before the anniversary of the signing. Students enrolled in the agreement can benefit from their conditions for two years after the termination comes into force. The “Race Equivalents” document on the admissions site of W-M (www.wm.edu/admission/transfer), which also takes into account the general educational requirements of W-M, will be updated when the W-M program is modified and after adding or cancelling courses in the VCCS Master Course File without running a new GAA. VCCS equivalency courses that meet these requirements are listed in the “Race Equivalents” document on the www.wm.edu/admission/transfer`s admissions site, in the “COLL” column for the college curriculum. Students are subject to the applicable requirements at the time of submission of the letter of intent. Additional education and training requirements are set out in Section IV of this agreement. The College of William and Mary welcomes applications from students from Richard Bland College.
